04 June – Classical Music at Its Best
Frequently mentioned alongside the greats, Swiss pianist Oliver Schnyder is praised for his ‘intelligence and aristocratic musicianship’ by the Washington Post. Since his recital debut in the John F. Kennedy Centre in Washington, Schnyder has given concerts at venues worldwide, including Wigmore Hall and Carnegie Hall. The artist has released eight solo albums, and his recordings are often compared to those of Wilhelm Kempff. In this concert, he will interpret two works by Alexander Scriabin, as 2015 is dedicated to the great Russian composer. The concert is at Sakip Sabanci Museum, The Seed Stage at 8 p.m.
